One day, I met a girl
The deepest soul shone through her eyes
And burned straight into mine
She blew right through me.
Like the warmest summer breeze
Biggest chocolate,
Button moons
Every coy sideways glance
My reverie, a mermaid’s dance
That depth of heart, so framed by chance?
That gentle side I spied?,
As moonkissed glow on darkest night
Strong as Eden’s black and white.
Vulnerable, like swan in flight
Sweet; like autumn’s dusky light
If I could grasp a piece of sky
With these two hands of mine?
Aladdin’s breath would mourn a sigh
Tangible, as angels cry,
“Goodbye”.
Let all of nature wither
Misty,silver
Sliver, shiver.
The way this beauty touched a heart?
Marble pillars fell apart.
Look without
Or look within
It matters not to most
But never, ever;
Lose your heart
For therein lies your ghost.
